How to use these printable Junk Journal Covers for Junk Journaling…
Step 1: Print Your Covers
Choose your favorite vintage cover designs from the 60+ free printables. Print them using a color printer on high-quality paper for durability and a better appearance.
Step 2: Trim to Size
Once printed, use a pair of scissors or a paper trimmer to cut out the cover, following the provided guidelines or your journal’s specific dimensions.
Step 3: Attach to Cardboard
Cut a piece of cardboard to the size of your journal cover. Apply a thin layer of glue on the cardboard and carefully place your printed cover on top. Smooth out any air bubbles and let it dry.
Step 4: Fold Spine
If your cover design includes a spine, fold along the spine lines to give your journal a book-like appearance. This will also help it open and close more easily.
Step 5: Seal the Cover
To protect your cover, you can use clear adhesive paper or a light coat of decoupage medium like Mod Podge. Let it dry completely.
Step 6: Assemble the Journal
Punch holes in the spine of your cover and add your journal pages (also known as signatures) by threading through the holes with strong thread or twine.
Step 7: Personalize
Now that your journal is assembled personalize it further with additional embellishments, pockets, and tuck spots using other printable ephemera or found items.
Enjoy your uniquely crafted junk journal, perfect for recording memories, thoughts, or art!

Hi Cathy,
I use the Epson EcoTank ET-2850 at home. It prints beautifully and the ink tends to last longer than other brands. I also like the fact that it has automatic double sided printing – which is great for Junk Journal Pages. Hope this helps!
Beautiful. I use the Epson EcoTank also and print with great abandon!
