The Artsydee School of Wonky Watercolour

Soft watercolour painting of blush pink roses and sage green leaves

Eight weeks. One wonky, wonderful painting on your fridge.

Here’s the honest truth I keep coming back to after years of teaching: the wonky paintings are the ones with heart. The wobbly stems, the petals that ran a little, the sky that dried funny — that’s where the magic lives.

So I’m finally opening a proper little school. The Artsydee School of Wonky Watercolour is my first-ever taught term — eight gentle, genuinely fun weeks of painting together, taught by me, at a pace that fits around real life.

The doors are open to the waitlist. If you put your name down, have a look in your inbox — you have a two-day head start, exactly as promised. Everyone else: the doors open to you on Thursday 10 September. Term One starts Monday 21 September, and this very first round is the founding cohort — £49 for the term, and you keep that rate for every term after this one.

An end-of-term exhibition

We celebrate everyone's paintings at week eight. Fridge-worthy, all of it.

Painted at my kitchen table — this is the style we’ll paint together.

The founding cohort. This very first term is a small, deliberate beginning — and the list hears first and picks first, two days before anybody else.

A few quick questions

When does it start?

Term One begins on Monday 21 September 2026 and runs for eight painting weeks, finishing in the week of 9 November. Enrolment closes on Sunday 20 September, the evening before we start, so that we all set off together rather than trickling in.

What do I need?

Not much — a basic set of watercolours, a couple of brushes, some paper and a willingness to make happy mistakes. I'll share a simple supply list well before we begin, and nothing on it is fancy or expensive.

What does it cost?

Founding tuition is £49 (about $61 USD) for the whole eight-week term — and because this is the founding cohort, that is the rate you keep for every term after this one. If it turns out not to be your sort of thing, there is a full refund any time before Week 2: no form to fill in and no reasons to give.
