Hi, I’m Dee — the artist behind Artsydee. I’ve been running this little corner of the internet since February 2021, and every week I send four emails full of watercolour templates, junk journal kits, coloring pages and free printables to a whole community of beginner-friendly makers.
If you make something my readers would genuinely love — good art supplies, paper, creative tools, a course worth taking — I’d love to introduce you to them. Here’s exactly what that looks like, what it costs, and how to book.
Who reads Artsydee
Around 35,600 subscribers, four emails a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), running since 2021. These are beginner-friendly creatives who paint, journal and print — they came looking for “how do I start watercolour” and stayed.
- 31–39% open rate on every send (measured over the last 30 days).
- The Friday freebie email reaches about 14,800 opens once the automatic next-day resend is counted, and pulls a 6–7.6% click rate — my best-performing send of the week.
- 74–79% are in the United States. The US, UK, Canada and Australia together make up 87–91%.
- Where I can measure age (my YouTube audience — MailerLite doesn’t hold an age field), the centre of gravity is 25–44 (about 56%).
- The website itself gets roughly 209,000 visits a month.
And they actually buy. Over the past year, Amazon’s own reporting on my affiliate account shows my readers clicked through to art supplies 40,239 times and bought 2,621 items — a 6.5% conversion rate. For context, affiliate content usually converts at 1–3%. These readers don’t just browse; they reach for their wallets.
What a placement looks like
One clearly marked sponsor spot inside my Friday “Freebie Basket” email — the send that goes to my whole list and always performs best. It’s a short, warm feature (around 100 words), your image, and one tracked link, written so it sits naturally alongside the free printables my readers already open it for.
- It runs twice for one fee. The original Friday send, then automatically again the next day to everyone who didn’t open it — about 14,800 opens in total.
- One sponsor per issue. Never two brands in the same email, never buried under three other things.
- Always clearly marked as a recommendation, so my readers know exactly what it is. I only ever feature things I’d tell a friend about.
Rates & what’s included
| Placement | Founding rate | Standard rate |
|---|---|---|
| Friday feature block ~100 words, image, tracked link, runs twice | $150 | $275 |
| Classified line one sentence + link in the Friday P.S. | $75 | $110 |
| Q4 gift-guide package 3 Friday placements across Nov–Dec | $650 | |
Why there’s a founding rate: I’m honestly new to selling sponsor slots, so the first few are priced as case-study builders. You get a below-market rate; I get a real performance report to show the next brand. After the first three, the rate moves to standard. I’d rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.
The Q4 gift guide
My two strongest months of the whole year are December and January — my readers convert at roughly 8.9% and 7.9% in that window, well above my yearly average. If you’re planning holiday activity, a gift-guide placement booked now for November/December is the best inventory I have. September is exactly when to talk about it.
Who it’s for — and who it’s not
A good fit: art and craft supplies, paper goods, creative tools, and courses or memberships for makers — the kinds of things I’d happily recommend to a friend.
Not a fit: paid link placements or SEO backlinks, anything I haven’t used or wouldn’t genuinely recommend, dedicated solo emails, Sunday placements (my quiet “sanctuary” send stays ad-free), or slots during one of my own launch weeks.
Brands I’ve worked with
Over the years I’ve worked with brands like Ohuhu, Arrtx, TourBox and UGEE across my content — reviewing tools, creating with them, and sharing what I genuinely love with my readers.
How to book
- Book directly through my booking page: passionfroot.me/artsydee
- Or just email me: info@artsydee.com — tell me a little about your brand and what you’d like to feature.
I look at every placement personally and only run brands I’d recommend, so whatever you send, I’ll always reply. I’d love to hear from you. — Dee x
