What exactly is digital paper?
It’s a high-resolution printable design file — in this case floral patterns, pastel tones and seasonal botanical prints — that you download rather than buy as a physical sheet. The big advantage over traditional scrapbooking paper is that it’s reusable: print the same sheet as many times as you like, or drop it straight into your artwork digitally. So if you tear a page while you’re layering, you just print another one.

What paper should I print these on?
Matte or lightly textured paper gives the nicest result for junk journaling — glossy photo paper fights the vintage look and makes glue behave badly. For see-through overlays, try printing onto vellum, which layers beautifully over a plain journal page. If you’re cutting out individual flowers for embellishments, go slightly heavier so the pieces hold their shape.
How do I use them in a junk journal?
Print your favourites and use them as full-page backgrounds, then build from there. Tearing the edges rather than cutting gives you that soft vintage feel, and layering two or three torn pieces adds depth quickly. Fussy-cut the individual floral elements to make your own embellishments, and print a few onto vellum for overlays. Because you can reprint endlessly, it’s worth experimenting rather than being precious about it.
Can I use digital paper in Procreate or Photoshop?
