One of my favorite things to do is use my template of a flower pot to create watercolor brush pen art. I do this by printing out the flower pot template on watercolor paper. Then I use my brush pens to fill in the flower pot with whatever design I feel like.
You could also use this technique to create some stunning illustrations. Watercolor brush pens are a great way to add some color and life to your flower pot template.

How to Create Flower Pot template stencils
- Open your printable flower pot outline and select print.
- Choose the size you want to print to.
- Print the stencil onto a mylar transparency sheet. (Alternatively, you can print the printable onto a standard piece of paper and then trace it onto a piece of plastic mylar after)
- On a cutting mat, use a craft knife to carefully cut out the shapes of your flower pot.
- You can also simplify the cutting process by using a Cricut digital cutting machine. I absolutely love mine and it has made art making so much easier 🙂
- Your stencil is now ready to use.
